4th Annual Navigating, Negotiating, and Building Your Strategic Network Career Event
Topic: Engaging Men: Building Inclusive Networks for Career Success
Presented By:
Date: February 26, 2015
Time: 5.00pm- 8.30pm
Location: Goldman Sachs Auditorium, 200 West Street NYC
Format: Registration opens at 5 pm and event begins at 6 pm. A networking will follow the panel discussion until close at 8:30 pm.
About: The purpose of this career panel and networking event is to explore the question of how to find and work with your male and female senior sponsors but also how to recognize and work with informal gender champions within your team, your firm and the industry at large.
Our panelists (both senior men and women) will discuss how they have been change leaders when it comes to making sure that they personally owned their influence to address some of the gender diversity challenges that exist in the workplace.
This career event is for women at VP level and upwards.
Women are encouraged to bring a male counterpart who is interested in becoming a gender champion or ally for women at work (or perhaps already are!).
This event is useful for anyone who wants to get to the top in their career and wants to transform concepts of sponsorship and networks into a useful reality as they navigate their path.
Panelists Include:
Justin Gemlich, Global head of Credit Trading and a Management Committee Member, Goldman Sachs
Larry Hughes, CEO, BNY Mellon Wealth Management
Kathryn Kaminsky, Partner, Assurance, PWC
Donna Parisi, Partner, Co-practice Leader of Asset Management group, Shearman and Sterling LLP
Moderator:
Chuck Shelton, Managing Director, Greatheart Leader Labs
